South Africa, 17 October 2021 - The SOFARSOLAR Academy has successfully concluded its first training session in South Africa. Tomasz Grnyo, Head of Technical Department EMEA and SOFARSOLAR Academy, hosted the training, which was organised in cooperation with SofarSolar's local partners AutoX and its subsidiary Rentech. Despite COVID restrictons, Grnyo was able to be in South Africa in person and train participants from AutoX's branches all across the country, both by providing local training sessions and webinars.
The main purpose of these sessions was to introduce all SofarSolar products and to give a detailed explanation of how to install them, especially the hybrid and storage systems, which are in high demand in South Africa. Until now, SofarSolar has already installed over 10MW, a figure that is rapidly rising as a growing number of South African solar PV users is choosing SofarSolar's solutions.

This training project further consolidates SofarSolar's market presence in South Africa, and is in line with the company's global strategy to develop and maintain close relationships with its partners and customers. "As more and more people start to look at energy storage solutions," Tomasz Grnyo says, "it is crucial to teach our partners the skills needed to competently install those systems. These sessions not only professionalize personnel, they also provide the opportunity to establish a much more personal connection with our customers."

The SOFARSOLAR Academy looks forward to organising similar training sessions in the future, to provide our partners and customers across the world with the latest knowledge and professional skills needed to install SofarSolar's products.
